Groninger Youth Choir
1-3 December, Prague
The youth choir won the sliver medal at the International Festival of
Advent and Christmas Music 2006 in Prague. Over 70 choirs from 16 countries

We are very proud of what we've achieved in Prague!! Fortunately we had some time to do some site seeing in Prague. We made a long walk through the city, visited a number of beautiful city sites, had lovely lunches and dinners and of course went to the famous Prague Christmas Market.
The day after the festival, we travelled by bus to the Prague region. We were very impressed by things we saw at the site of the former concentration camp Theresienstadt explained to us by an english speaking guide who knew all about the history of the site.
The Prague journey was concluded by a fantastic dinner in the world famous monument Obecni Dum at Namesti Republiky 5 in Prague.
